A&M-Texarkana Research
As a regional university, Texas A&M University-Texarkana has a proud history of meaningful and impactful research activities. Because we value the student-centered model of education, many of our faculty who engage in research do so by involving students in their research agenda. Whether students are helping faculty conduct quantitative research, qualitative inquiry or conduct a literature review, students benefit from the value added to their education through substantial partnerships with faculty along research trails.
Faculty at TAMUT both contribute to and lead their chosen fields of study through publishing books, international journal articles, state, regional and national articles as well as presentations to professional audiences at all levels. The University takes very seriously our opportunity to support and develop new insights into existing fields while enhancing the professional reputations of our faculty members.
The Office of Research helps faculty and programs develop their chosen research activities through external funding, internal supports and logistical efforts.
At any one point in time, the faculty and staff at TAMUT may be involved in 20-30 different projects or programs that fall under the guise of research. For students, this means that there is always a chance to get involved in something.
