A&M-Texarkana's Veterans Services
Welcome Home! You have served your country, now let us serve you. Whether you are Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, a Veteran, or a family member, we thank you for your service to our nation and promise to make your experience at Texas A&M University-Texarkana a rewarding one.
Our Veteran Services Staff is prepared to help you achieve your academic goals as well as facilitate your transition from military to civilian life. Earning a coveted degree from Texas A&M University-Texarkana will prove to be a valuable asset in securing civilian employment.
The Veteran Services Center serves as your One Stop Shop for coordination of all your academic activities, progress, and needs. The office is staffed by two full-time employees trained as a VA School Certifying Official and will help you connect with any services required on campus. The center is also staffed by VA Work Study students who are trained to help you interface with all the services on campus.
If you would like us to explore your eligibility for any Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Education benefits, State of Texas Veterans Education benefits, or DOD Tuition Assistance, please fill out our Benefit Eligibility Questionnaire at the following link, so we may assist you and learn more about your military affiliation.
Enrollment is certified by the appropriate agency upon request of the student. Any student enrolled at A&M-Texarkana who is eligible for VA Educational Benefits, State of Texas military benefits, or DOD Tuition Assistance should notify us when he or she wishes to be certified using the Request for Certification form.
