Welcome to the Honors College at A&M-Texarkana

Texas A&M University-Texarkana's Honors College offers motivated undergraduate students a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge in their fields, develop leadership skills on and off campus, and collaborate closely with faculty mentors on student-led research projects. The college aims to create a supportive learning community for both traditional and nontraditional students, providing enriched educational experiences beyond standard course requirements. Honors students participate in interdisciplinary activities like colloquia and seminars, engage in undergraduate research and creative projects, contribute to service learning initiatives, pursue leadership roles, and enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities.

You will benefit from mentored undergraduate research and creative activities, while participating in co-curricular events like the Honors Colloquium Series and seminars. You will have the opportunity to take on leadership roles within the Honors Program Advisory Group and have access to various scholarship opportunities (with a priority application deadline for Fall on March 1). Additionally, enjoy enhanced library privileges and access to a dedicated community and learning space (Honors Lounge), ensuring you have the resources necessary for academic success and personal growth.
