The Eagle Book Bundle provides access to all course materials without the need to shop around before the first day of class. The Eagle Book Bundle is a textbook rental program. Enrollment in this program is automatic, and the cost is $24 per credit hour per semester/term. Students can buy their rented textbooks at a reduced price at the end of the semester/term. A&M-Texarkana students participating in Eagle Book Bundle will benefit from:

How it Works
Register for Classes
Upon registering for courses, you will be automatically enrolled into the program. Once you've successfully selected your courses, the bookstore will start preparing your order.
Verify Your Order
30 days before classes start, you will receive an email to verify your Eagle Book Bundle order and select how you would like to receive your materials. At this same time, you will be able to opt-out of the program if you determine it is not financially beneficial to you.
Receive Your Textbooks
An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships. Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within Canvas.
The verify/opt-out period will open on July 29 and end on September 11.
Eagle Book Bundle FAQs
What is the Eagle Book Bundle program?
A: The Eagle Book Bundle is a course material delivery model through Barnes & Noble College (BNC) that simplifies the student experience, lowers the cost of materials, and ensures students have access to all of their required course materials on or before the first day of class. Through this innovative program, physical books are conveniently packaged and provided to students on a rental basis, and access to digital material is directly within Canvas, simply priced at $24 per credit hour and billed to the student’s account. At the end of the term, students will receive email reminders to return rented physical course materials to the bookstore.
How does the Eagle Book Bundle program work?
A: After students register for their classes, the bookstore will start preparing their course materials. One month before classes start, students will receive an email instructing them to verify their order and select their delivery preference (pick up at the bookstore or shipped directly to the student). Students will receive an email notification when their order is ready for pickup or when it ships. If course materials are digital, they will be delivered within Canvas.

What materials are included?
A: The Eagle Book Bundle provides all required textbooks, eTextbooks, lab manuals, and access codes to eligible students.
What materials are excluded?
A: Eagle Book Bundle does not include consumable course supplies that cannot be returned and reused such as lab goggles, dissection kits, molecular model kits, engineering kits or nursing kits.
How do students enroll in the Eagle Book Bundle program?
A: Beginning in fall 2024, all students will be automatically enrolled in the Eagle Book Bundle program.
Can students opt-out of the Eagle Book Bundle program?
A: Students have the option to opt-out of the Eagle Book Bundle program each semester during the opt-out window. The opt-out window is open from July 29 - September 11
– based on refund period/drop period. By opting out, students will not receive their required materials in a convenient package and access to digital content will be removed after the opt-out window closes. Options for purchasing course materials after opting out can be found on the bookstore website. To begin the opt-out process, students may visit our opt-out page.
How will students who opt-out of the Eagle Book Bundle program receive their textbooks?
A: Students may purchase their textbooks and other course materials a la carte from the bookstore or through another vendor of their choice.
Can students change their opt-out status?
A: Yes. Students may change opt back into the Eagle Book Bundle program by clicking this link or by following the instructions in their opt-out email. Please note that students must make their final selection by September 11.
When textbook rentals due back to the bookstore?
A: The deadline to return all rental textbooks is the last day of final exams for the semester. Students will receive reminders ahead of the rental deadline to their university email address.
Can students buy their rented textbooks?
A: Yes. The Eagle Book Bundle program gives students the option to purchase any rental textbooks at a reduced rate during the semester.
What if a student needs a specific textbook across multiple semesters? Do they need to return the book each semester?
A: Yes. Students are required to return all textbooks, even those that are required across multiple semesters or for the duration of their degree program, at the end of each semester. They will be re-issued the same title the following semester.
What happens if a student does not verify their order?
A: Students will receive email notifications from the bookstore reminding them to verify their order and choose their fulfillment preference. If the student does not opt-out, their materials will be held at the bookstore and their student account will be charged.
What happens if a student doesn’t pick up their books? Will they get charged?
A: Yes. If the student did not opt-out of the program, physical materials will be held at the bookstore, digital materials will be provided through Canvas, and the student’s account will be charged.
What if a student drops a class?
A: If course materials have been already picked up or delivered for the dropped class, those materials should be returned to the bookstore within 48 hours. If a student drops a class and enrolls in a different class, the bookstore will “swap” the required course materials so that the student has what they need.
Can a student opt-out if they’ve already picked up their text books?
A: Yes. Students will have 48 hours to return their textbooks. If they do not return the textbooks, the charges for the bundle will remain on their student account and they will be subject to a replacement and non-return processing fee.
