Welcome to Information Technology (IT)
Information Technology provides the infrastructure and the information that connect the A&M-Texarkana community. With service as our focus, we help A&M-Texarkana faculty, staff and students get what they need from technology.
Information Technology handles maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals at A&M-Texarkana, working on all PC and Macintosh computers, printers, internal and external peripherals, except for:
- Computers and items that are not the property of A&M-Texarkana.
- Devices that are covered by a contract with an outside vendor.
In order to facilitate the repair procedure, please have the following information available when submit a work order:
- The make and model of your computer
- Your building, room number and telephone
- A description of the problem
- Available times for a technician to help

On Campus - Eagle WiFi
Guests can quickly connect to an open wireless network with access granted by verification code – no more paper forms and waiting for permission. Simply click on Guest Access and follow the steps. Guess Access is good for seven days without having to re-certify.
Students, Faculty and Staff can use their EagleID Credentials to obtain access to a safer, more secure, encrypted network. Students, Faculty and Staff access is good for two years without having to re-certify.
Bringle Lake Village Network Access - Dorm Rooms, Game Consoles, TVs, and other access
If your device has Wi-Fi capability, then please connect to your room's wireless network, BLV Tenant. There is a unique password for your dorm room, you will need to ensure the RA provides you with your room’s unique password. If you use a password that is not assigned to your room, you will experience connectivity issues.
Hardwire ports are also available on the bottom of the Ruckus Access Point located in the living area. Please let us know if you have any questions.
