The Eagle family is committed to making the transfer process as smooth as possible for you. Whether you are a working adult returning to college, or you are a current university or community college transfer student, we have the right program for you. We provide pre-advising and assist with the application process. We help coordinate initial contact with Advising to begin the enrollment process and ensure you are all set to start classes. Our designated transfer recruiters make site visits to community colleges and attend transfer college fairs. Transfer Student Admission Information
Review Admission Requirements
Transfer applicants must be eligible to enroll at all colleges or universities previously attended. In order to be considered for admission, you must meet the following admission requirements:
- any post secondary transferable credit in a full term (Fall or Spring) after high school/GED completion. If a student only attends the summer term immediately following high school completion they will still be considered a freshman and;
- 2.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher

Transcripts
Send us all official college transcripts
- You must submit official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities attended.
- An official transcript bears the original signature of a school official and/or an official school seal.
- Must be received in a sealed envelope either from the issuing institution or hand delivered and/or electronically via SPEEDE, eScript-SAFE, Parchment, or National Student Clearing House. Emailed transcripts will not be accepted as an official document.

Additional Information
Military transcript(s)
- Some of the courses taken while serving in the military may be applicable to certain degree plans.
- Submit proof of credit earned through Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD), or other.

Checking your admission status is easy!
Once you have logged in you can:
- Check your admissions file for missing items
- Check your admissions status
Please follow the instruction below to find out how to log into your admissions status portal.
Please log on to your Web for Students account to see what item(s) are missing:
- Log on to Web for Students
- Select the Student tab
- Click on the Admissions link
- Under Processed Applications select the term you applied for. ex. Fall 2023
- When you scroll down you will see your admission decision. ex. Admitted or Pending
- If you scroll down further you will see Requirements. Any requirement that is missing a Received date still needs to be submitted to the admissions office.
Notification of Decision
Admission decisions are made throughout the application period and announced as soon as possible. The fastest way to get an admission decision is to send us all of your official transcripts. If a student is accepted, they will be notified of their admission decision via an official letter mailed to the address on their application.
Denied Admissions Appeal
Undergraduate students that do not meet our regular admissions standards have the opportunity to appeal their denied admission decision. All appeals must be complete; incomplete submissions will not be processed or sent to the admissions appeal committee.

Meet TSI Requirements
The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a Texas legislature mandated program for students who attend Texas public institutions of higher education as of fall 2003. The law requires all entering college students to be assessed for college readiness in reading, mathematics and writing unless the student qualifies for an exemption.
Proof Of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination
Submit copy of your immunization record showing proof that you have received the bacterial meningitis vaccine or booster dose to our online student medical records system.
Register for Online Orientation
All transfer students are required to complete online orientation that is designed to provide a foundation for student success and to help gain an understanding of life as an Eagle.
