Your Texas A&M University-Texarkana Electronic Credentials
(The examples on this page use Ace Eagle’s name, birthdate, and CWID for demonstration purposes.)
IMPORTANT:
- Never share your log-in credentials with anyone.
- TAMUT staff will never ask you for your P.I.N. or password.
- TAMUT staff will verify your identity when you request username or password assistance by asking a series of verification questions.
EagleID:
- The format for your EagleID is the first 4 letters of your last name, then the last 4 digits of your CWID. For example, John Smith (CWID: 80000000), would be “Smit0000”.
- Your EagleID is used to login to Canvas, EagleSync, DegreeWorks, Campus computers, etc.
- The default password for your EagleID is “Tamut****”, where the asterisks are the last 4 digits of your CWID. Taking the example from above, it would be “Tamut0000”
- Your EagleID password can be changed by going to password.tamut.edu and logging in with your EagleID and password. Once inside of the password self-service, you can setup security questions and change your password.
- If you’re unable to login, and have not setup your password self-service, or security questions, please give us a call at 903-334-6603, or visit us at UC-257.
AceMail:
- The format for your AceMail is “first.lastname@ace.tamut.edu”. For example, John Smith would be “john.smith@ace.tamut.edu”.
- The default password for your AceMail is your full birthday, then “!Ace”. For example, John Smith (DOB: 08/14/2000) would have the password “08142000!Ace”.
- To login to your AceMail, search for Gmail and login through there. If you already have a personal account singed in, you can click on the small circle in the top right (while in Gmail) and add an account.
- We recommend adding a recovery phone number to your AceMail, just in case you need to recover the account, or forget it’s password.
- If you can’t login, have forgotten the password, or haven’t set up a recovery phone number, please give us a call at 903-334-6603, or visit us at UC-257.
