The Department of Nursing, Kinesiology, and Social Work offers several undergraduate and graduate degrees, a social work minor, and post-master’s certificates in advanced practice nursing. Our graduates are prepared to enter practice settings such as hospitals, clinics, K12 school districts, research institutes, and many others.

Engaging beyond the Classroom
Our department has a wide reach within the community and region. Each program includes extensive experiential learning through courses such as field practicum, internships, and clinical learning experiences. The department houses a simulated hospital, robust skills labs, and student organizations such as the Social Work Student Association and the Future A&M Nurses.
