Teacher Prep Program
Teacher prep program is a series of courses and training programs that equip aspiring educators with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the classroom. These programs vary in length and content, with some including field experience and student teaching. The goal of a teacher prep program is to prepare future teachers with the tools and strategies necessary to effectively teach and engage students of all backgrounds. Graduates of teacher prep programs are typically eligible to apply for state teaching licenses and certifications.

Note: The state of Texas requires passing the appropriate Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) for certification as a Texas educator.
