The Master’s of Education with Teacher Certification is a comprehensive online 30-semester credit hour program designed for individuals seeking to enhance their teaching skills and obtain Texas teacher certification. This program combines advanced educational theory with practical teaching strategies to prepare graduates for successful careers in education.
The Scholars of Practice doctoral program in Education Leadership at Texas A&M University‑Texarkana is a degree designed with a public school and higher education emphasis to meet the demands of education today. Graduates of the doctoral program often pursue leadership positions in public school districts, higher education, state or federal agencies, or the private sector. The Scholars of Practice degree is a web-enhanced doctoral program in which courses are approximately 50% online and 50% face-to-face delivered in a seminar format, providing flexibility for working students as well as the personal interaction for which A&M-Texarkana is known. Typically this translates into three weekends per semester on campus.

Teacher Certifications
The university offers a range of teaching certifications for aspiring educators. Each certification program provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective teachers in their chosen field. Courses cover topics such as teaching strategies, classroom management, assessment techniques, curriculum development, and educational psychology. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to apply for teaching certification in their state or region.
