Accreditation Study Public Notice
The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Division of Nursing is pleased to announce to our major constituents and community of interest that we will be hosting an on-site accreditation visit for our Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) on April 9, 2025, through April 11, 2025.
In accordance with CCNE’s procedures, third-party comments may be provided to CCNE no later than March 19, 2025. Please submit comments to CCNE at thirdpartycomments@ccneaccreditation.org.

The online Nursing Administration track prepares nurses for administrative roles and leadership in healthcare. Courses are 8 weeks long, and the program can be completed in as little as one year. Graduates meet the educational requirements for CENP certification by the American Organization of Nurse Executives.

MSN-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
The PMHNP program offers two tracks: post-MSN and BSN to MSN. Both tracks feature online courses (synchronous and asynchronous) and monthly on-campus clinical meetings. Students receive quality clinical rotation sites and are qualified to seek ANCC certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners upon graduation.
